BHASVIC NEEDS GOVERNORS

Brighton Hove and Sussex Sixth Form College is a Beacon College, popular with students and recognised by OFSTED as outstanding in most areas.

We have vacancies for three new External Governors (not staff or students) to replace longstanding members who are retiring by rotation. Governors are volunteers who commit to attending about six evening meetings a year and to taking a wider interest in the life of the College.

Particularly useful skills, to complement those of the continuing Governors, would include at least one of the following:

Professional knowledge of education policy and/or curriculum development;
Experience of senior management in the public or private sectors;
Governance in the education sector;
Legal or financial expertise.
