BHASVIC Sports Success Stories
Curtis Gayler a first year Sport Science student at BHASVIC has made it through to the 16 man football squad for England School Boys. After trialling against over 100 other players, Curtis progressed all the way through to round 4 where he travelled to Lilleshall for a training weekend. The team played against the RAF and Navy with a squad of 16 players then being picked to represent England School Boys. Curtis was one of the 16 and will now represent his country starting with a week in Spain playing against the likes of Majorca, Valancia and Malaga FC. The hard work doesn't stop there as the England team will also play Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Curtis said " It's an honour to represent my country and I am looking forward to playing against some international teams at some great facilities. It has been a great experience for me which I will never forget". This is a fantastic achievement and a great opportunity for Curtis to continue his development in football. We wish him the best of luck!
