Facilities For Hire
BHASVIC Sports Centre
You can choose to hire either the sports hall
or dance studio. Our sports centre facilities are disabled-friendly,
with lift access to the first floor dance studio.
Sports Hall
The sports hall hire costs £35 per hour weekdays with
a minimum booking time of two hours for a minimum period
of one term.
The sports hall may be used for badminton (3
courts), basketball or netball (1 league court or 4 junior
basketball / netball courts), indoor tennis (1 court), 5
a side football (1 pitch), volleyball (1 court). Two full-sized
trampolines are also available for hire. With under-floor
heating and sprung flooring which meets Sports Council specifications,
the hall is excellent for team events. There is a viewing
gallery overlooking the sports hall (maximum capacity: 50
people).
No dark soled shoes allowed.
Male and female changing,
showers and toilet facilities are available adjacent to the
hall.
Dance Studio
The dance studio hire costs £25 per hour weekdays with
a minimum booking time of one hour for a minimum period of
one term. Music is not provided in the dance studio, although
hirers are welcome to bring their own music systems.
The dance studio may be used for aerobics,
pilates, yoga and any dance-based activities. The floor is
sprung to meet specifications set by exam boards assessing
advanced level dance.
No dark soled shoes allowed.
Toilet facilities are available
adjacent to the dance studio.
Drama Studio
Drama studio hire costs: £25 per hour
Main hall
Main hall hire costs: £35per
hour
Classrooms
Classroom hire costs: £11 per hour
Fields
Our fields are used
for school sports days and community sports events. Football
and rugby pitches are available (in season). There are also
two outdoor tennis courts.
Booking Conditions
The BHASVIC
Sports Centre is available for you to hire subject to availability.
Both the sports hall and dance studio are available
for hire from Monday to Thursday inclusive from 6 - 10 p.m.
plus Friday from 6 - 8 p.m.
Bookings need to be received at least 7 days
in advance of hiring Sports Centre facilities.
