BHASVIC student Zachary has been an active charity fundraiser since his early school days. His efforts have raised more than £4,000 in the past three years for charities including the Martletts and the Edward Starr Trust. Zachary's charitable works are in memory of his Grandfather who died from cancer.
Zachary is well known for helping others and has involved friends and family in many of his fund raising activities. Zachary's fundraising efforts include car washing to cake baking, as well as running street stalls and holding quizzes. His latest plan is to hold a sponsored cycle in the summer.
Zach says: "Being a Torchbearer is a huge honour. I would not have guessed this would happen to me in my wildest dreams and the enormity of it is quite daunting - but very exciting. It means a lot to me, to know, that people think the work I do is special. I love being part of such a huge event and can't wait to represent Brighton & Hove.
