Celebrating Outstanding Student Achievement

Ofsted’s Inspection of BHASVIC in December 2007 identified outstanding performance. Our outstanding student achievements place BHASVIC in the top 13% of colleges nationally.

BHASVIC welcomes David Bell, Permanent Secretary of the Department for Children, Schools and Families


David Bell, Permanent Secretary of The Department for Children, Schools and Families [ DCSF ], visited BHASVIC on 5th October 2007. Chris Thomson, BHASVIC’s Principal, had written an article in The Guardian concerning the government’s educational agenda and it was this that prompted the visit. David, pictured right, met with staff, students and governors and joined in a very lively Politics lesson.
