Men's Basketball

At present, we have 24 players in the BHASVIC Elite Basketball Programme. They are divided into 2 teams, with the first team competing in the EABL (Elite Academy Basketball League) and the 2nd team entered in to the AoC League.

The EABL compromises of two conferences, the Southern and Northern. Our first team is a part of the Southern Conference, where we compete against some of the best basketball academies and players in the country. We have 18 league fixtures for this season. We have also entered both team into cup’s this year.

The 2nd team’s league will consist of teams from across the South East. They currently have 10 fixtures this season plus cup games and have also entered the AoC regional tournament due to be held in November.

Last season, our first team had several close encounters with some of the big teams in the EABL.  A few memorable games from last season’s EABL fixtures were against well drilled sides like CoLa and Oakland Wolves where we narrowly missed out on a win, both by around only 10 points.

Additionally, we entered a 3v3 tournament last season held in Ipswich. We placed 3rd, narrowly missing out on qualifying for the 3v3 Finals held in Manchester. The BHASVIC 2nd team had a successful year, winning the majority of their games and placed third in the regional AoC tournament.

We also have a Women’s Team who train once a week, this squad consists of around 15 females who compete in friendly fixtures throughout the year in addition to entering a regional competition.
