BHASVIC Basketball AOC team had a very successful campaign in the 2016/17 season.

Achievements include:
Champions of the AOC South East League
Runners up in the AOC South East Tournament
Quarter Finals of The National Cup
BHASVIC Player of the year - Jacob Green

The team stuck together through thick and thin, demonstrating commitment, toughness and discipline when and where it was needed.
They now have put themselves up as the team to beat in the AOC League, and will look to defend their title going in to the 2017/18 season. Team Captain Jacob Green solidified a fantastic year by winning the BHASVIC "Sports Player of the Year" a tremendous accomplishment for the young athlete.

BHASVIC First Team competed in the Elite Academy Basketball League (EABL) in the 2016/17 season which comprises of the Top 15 Colleges in the UK.

Each year the level of play in the EABL has grown and BHASVIC once again showed grit, determination and heart throughout.

Although they finished bottom of the East Conference overall, they displayed courage, toughness and showed improvement as the season progressed competing against the best teams at U19 level in the country.

On top of this, the team made it through to the EABL 3v3 Finals where they travelled up to London and were lucky enough to meet NBA All-Star Paul George on the day.

The team also made it to the Quarter Finals of the Premier National Cup.

Many of our BHASVIC players are currently looking to gain Athletic Scholarships to Universities both in the UK and abroad in the USA and we at South Coast Elite Basketball aim to support them with this journey.

As always the team is looking to build upon their hard-work to secure a better league position next season.
