Womens football Season Review

It was a memorable season for the BHASVIC Ladies football team who created history reaching the National Cup Final in Walsall. After passing through 6 rounds, the BHASVIC ladies reached the final of this highly prestige competition coming up against a very strong Barnsley Academy in the final. Alongside this, they were champions of the Sussex Division, champions of the South East league and had 5 players represent the Sussex Schools county squad. The season was topped off with the ladies winning the colleges “Team of the Year” award at the annual sports presentation evening with the captain Ellie Ramsauer picking up “Sports Person of the Year”. A fantastic season all around which will be hard to beat. Our aim is to see if we can go all the way next year and bring hope the National Cup!
