BHASVIC Students Excel in Cambridge Essay Competition

BHASVIC students have achieved outstanding success in the Fitzwilliam College Anthony Cross Essay Competition, a prestigious University of Cambridge competition which invites sixth form students to explore academic subjects in depth through independent research and essay writing.

Max Willis was awarded runner-up in the Slavonic Studies category, while Iris McCarthy-Johnson secured first place in the Classics category, reflecting the strength of their critical thinking and subject expertise.

The competition challenges students to go beyond the curriculum, engaging with complex ideas and producing university-style work. Both students’ achievements highlight not only their personal dedication but also the academic ambition fostered at BHASVIC.

Well-done to both students!
