Opportunities to Work with BHASVIC 

The college is keen to work with employers in a number of ways. Listed below are some suggestions of relevant activities and points within the academic year when employers can get involved:

4-day work experience placement  

During Skills Week, all first year students will be sourcing their own work placement and any additional offers of work experience at this time would help to support students.

Work Experience placements, shadowing and insights  

First and second year students can undertake work experience around their timetable. Employers can be added to our database for when a student is interested in gaining work experience.   

Throughout the year or during college holidays  

Advertising vacancies 

Please complete the form below however if you have any questions, please email careers@bhasvic.ac.uk  

Second year students finish college after their exams in June, however their last tutorial before study leave will be in May so if you are able to share vacancies as early as possible, students can be made aware  

Employer talks, mock interviews, CV support  

Target tutorial groups or subject areas for those students who are interested in work after college

Subject/Career Talks  

  • Come in to lessons to speak with students about opportunities/apprenticeships/company philosophy.

  • Careers Enrichment Day involves morning or an afternoon workshop about opportunities e.g. within company, different departments.

The NHS has been a longstanding partner at our annual Futures Fair which has been running since 2016 in its current form. Students have the opportunity to interact with professionals from a wide range of professionals.
