Principal’s Welcome

BHASVIC is a fantastic place to learn and study where you will enjoy being part of a vibrant community. We are proud of our traditional academic roots but as you will see, we are also a modern and forward-thinking College offering a variety of qualifications and emphasising individuality.
There is a learning culture here at BHASVIC that is evident wherever you go – we have an aspirational culture and expect our students to perform above their potential.
You will always be taught by experts whose focus is solely on teaching 16-18 year olds A level and BTEC courses. Your teachers will be highly qualified and both passionate about their subject and about teaching you in innovative and engaging ways.
You will be taught more than just course content; we will ensure you develop the skills you need to be an independent, lifelong learner with the ability to think for yourself. On top of this, our first-class student services and guidance staff will ensure you are well supported at every step of the way.
All of this culminates in outstanding results and ensures that you develop the necessary skills and experiences to be successful in whatever you decide to do next.

You will be treated like an adult and teachers will work with you as a co-creator of your own learning.

Sixth form colleges like BHASVIC are a brilliant stepping stone between school and university or the workplace. You will be treated like an adult and teachers will work with you as a co-creator of your own learning. You will have chosen courses that you find interesting and exciting and that will help shape what you want to do after BHASVIC.

Whilst here, you will belong to a thriving community with extensive opportunities outside of the classroom to make new friends, take part in enrichment activities or go on some of the many educational trips we offer.

We are a contemporary creative learning community and I look forward to you being a key part of it in September 2018.
