Culture Day 2026

The main hall burst into life with colour, music and energy during this year’s Culture Day celebrations. BHASVIC students who were born in, or have heritage connections to, a wide range of countries proudly took on the role of ambassadors, sharing facts, history, and delicious treats with staff and students. Many wore traditional or patriotic outfits, confidently walking and dancing down the catwalk as an enthusiastic crowd cheered them on. The event showcased the richness of our college community, with over 14 countries represented, including:

  • Afghanistan
  • Armenia
  • Bangladesh
  • India
  • Iran
  • MENA (Middle East and North Africa)
  • Pakistan
  • Poland
  • Russia
  • Senegal
  • Slovakia
  • Sri Lanka
  • West & North Africa

It was a joyful and memorable celebration that beautifully highlighted the diversity that makes BHASVIC such a vibrant and welcoming community. A huge thank you to all the students who took part and led the event with such pride and passion. We are also very grateful to the events team and Lauren Gilligan for their invaluable support in making the day such a success.
