Fashion Show raises over £1000 for Amaze Sussex
Just before the half‑term break, the Visual Arts department delivered a spectacular, sold-out fashion show titled GUM, celebrating the outstanding creativity of our A2 Textiles students. The event transformed the space into a vibrant runway, showcasing innovative garments, bold concepts, and the exceptional talent emerging from the department.
In addition to shining a spotlight on our students' hard work, the show also supported an important cause. All proceeds from the evening were donated to Amaze Sussex, a local charity that provides vital information, advice and support to families with children and young people who have special educational needs and disabilities. We are delighted to announce that, through ticket sales and bar revenue, the event raised over £1,000 for the charity.
A huge congratulations and heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in bringing GUM to life, from the students and staff to the volunteers and enthusiastic audience members who helped make the evening such a success.
An extra thank you to our students Violette Paul, Zoe Lopez Sotelo, Esther Jones, and Sadie Grays for the extra photography of the event!
