History of Art Students Join National Art UK Murals Project

As part of the BHASVIC Murals Project, experts from ArtUK visited BHASVIC on 4th September to run a workshop with History of Art students.  Jaron James [Professional Fine Art Photographer] and Adam Murray [Learning and Engagement Officer] introduced students to photographic and curatorship skills.  The murals in BHASVIC's main hall, painted by Louis Ginnet between 1913 and 1939, are being photographed by ArtUK as part of a national project documenting wall art across the United Kingdom. These fascinating and significant works will feature on the ArtUK website later in the year and it was a privilege for BHASVIC students to be able to participate in the project.
