BHASVIC at Brighton Pride 2026
BHASVIC staff and students celebrate Brighton Pride 2026
A large group of BHASVIC staff and students proudly joined thousands of people taking part in the Brighton Pride Parade this weekend.
Under glorious sunshine, our group marched through Brighton alongside local charities, community organisations and businesses, taking part in one of the city's most celebrated annual events. The Pride Parade is the centrepiece of the weekend and is recognised as one of the UK's largest Pride events, with more than 300,000 people lining the streets to watch and support the parade.
The route took participants on a memorable journey through the city, surrounded by vibrant colours, music, creativity and outstanding performances. Throughout the day, BHASVIC staff and students were met with many familiar faces cheering from the crowds, helping to create an atmosphere of celebration, positivity and community spirit.
Reflecting on the day, it was wonderful to see so many people embracing the opportunity to take part in such an important community event. The experience highlighted the values of inclusivity, respect and belonging that are central to life at BHASVIC, and in turn, Brighton.
