Kirstin Baker

Kirstin had a long career in the civil service, including over a decade as a senior civil servant in HM Treasury where she worked on public spending, on the Treasury's response to the banking crisis and most recently as Director of Finance.  Earlier in her career Kirstin worked in the European Commission and as an advisor on EU policy in the Cabinet Office.  She is currently a Non-Executive Director at the Competition and Markets Authority and at The Pensions Regulator and until recently was an Independent Member of the Council at the University of Sussex.  As well as her Co-chair role at BHASVIC, Kirstin is Chair of Governors at Balfour Primary School. She lives in Brighton with her partner and young children.
