Music Alumni at Wigmore Hall
BHASVIC alumni, Riya and Berniya Hamie are performing with their Astatine piano trio at the Wigmore Hall, London, on Fri 3 May at 1pm. They will be performing Brahms' Piano Trio no. 2 in C. They are performing as joint winners of the Birmingham International Chamber Music Competition. Wigmore Hall is one of the most prestigious chamber music venues in the UK so this is a remarkable achievement for these brilliant young musicians who are currently studying at The Royal Academy of Music and The Royal College of Music. The Astatine Trio has been mentored by Alfred Brendel and selected as Britten Pears Young Artists for 2023/24, as well as also being named Prizewinner in the Lyon International Chamber Music competition.
