Main Reception will close from 12:45 on Thursday 11 July. Main Reception will be open from 9am to 3pm only from Monday 12 August until Wednesday 28 August. Normal college Reception opening hours will commence at 8am on Thursday 29 August. The college site will be open, except on Bank Holiday Monday 26 August, however, most staff will be unavailable. Chartered Teacher status

BHASVIC Sociology teacher, Lesley Clark has achieved a new high in teaching excellence. Lesley is nationally one of the first to qualify as an Advanced Teaching Practioner which means she's now qualified to continue to lead and mentor other staff in the latest research-based methods of teaching and learning. As well as proving she is a highly skilled practitioner herself Lesley has spent the year observing and mentoring others, as well as being critically observed in the classroom to ensure the highest standards are shared across our staff teams. Lesley is now the 2nd member of BHASVIC staff to become a Chartered Teacher, which benefits the college and its students as we continually strive for the highest level learning experiences.
