93 DofE students at BHASVIC tackled the mountains of Snowdonia

An amazing achievement from 93 of the DofE students at BHASVIC as they tackled the mountains of Snowdonia over the Easter break. They showed enormous resilience coping with up to 9 hours walking and camping in freezing temperatures, and camp-cooking for four days and nights. Every Silver Student achieved the assessment proving their map reading skills and ability to overcome problems by working a team. The 40 Gold students added wild camping to their experiences and are now looking forward to the July expedition to the Lakes. An extraordinary group of young people who have emerged from lockdown still raring to go and happy to have a go at anything.
