Main Reception will close from 12:45 on Thursday 11 July. Main Reception will be open from 9am to 3pm only from Monday 12 August until Wednesday 28 August. Normal college Reception opening hours will commence at 8am on Thursday 29 August. The college site will be open, except on Bank Holiday Monday 26 August, however, most staff will be unavailable. International Music competition success for BHASVIC students

In July, the Astatine Trio, formed by current BHASVIC and Royal College of Music Junior Department student Riya Hamie (cello), former BHASVIC and current RCM student Berniya Hamie (piano) and fellow RCM student Julia Błachuta (violin) won 1st prize in the 2022 Virtuoso & Belcanto International Chamber Competition in Lucca, Italy. They were also selected for the legendary pianist Alfred Brendel’s masterclass. The trio is also one of six finalists in the Birmingham International Piano Chamber Competition which will be held in November 2022 at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
