James Brooklyn from About ASK - Amazing Apprenticeships visits BHASVIC
We were delighted to welcome James Brooklyn from About ASK - Amazing Apprenticeships who visited our A2 Employability & Enterprise Tutor Groups. James gave an overview of the huge range of over 600 apprenticeships at various levels now on offer across almost all job sectors. The benefits of apprenticeships are increasingly valued by young people - developing valuable work skills and gaining relevant qualifications while earning a salary. James gave lots of helpful tips for making a strong application and how to make yourself stand out. Students registered on the Find an Apprenticeship website and can now get notifications when vacancies are posted in job sectors they are interested in. Students asked lots of questions and we hope this session will lead to successful applications in the future!
