Lilli Southgate former BHASVIC student has been highly commended for the WJEC Moving Image Awards

Written in frustration with the government cutting the art funds, 'The City of Colour' screenplay is about a world where there are no arts at all. The protagonist Charlie Manray doesn't fit into this purely academic society. One day she wanders too far, stepping into the city of colour. There she discovers music,  literature,  film,  fashion and dance.

I thoroughly enjoyed studying Film at BHASVIC, learning about multiple genres and expanding my film knowledge. I am currently studying the art foundation course at Brighton MET.
