Scholarship Success
Congratulations to second year BHASVIC student, Henry Bull for winning a prestigious scholarship which provides him with funding at university, as well as a guaranteed place at the Military Academy in Sandhurst to complete a 44-week training course, prior to earning a commission.
Henry was awarded the scholarship following a demanding application process, culminating in a 3-day assessment at the Army Officer Selection Board, Westbury. The process consisted of leadership tasks, fitness tests, current affairs essays, two interviews and an obstacle course. Only 100 scholarships are available, but far less are awarded each year as the standard required is high.
Henry said “I was delighted to hear the news over the summer, and it was great to hear my hard work had paid off. I look forward to this future career after completing my degree at university”.
Henry hopes to study mathematics at Bristol before he heads to Sandhurst to begin his officer training.
