The Digital Talent Show Challenge
BHASVIC's Media & Performing Arts Department is delighted to announce the launch of the Digital Talent Show Challenge. The aim is to encourage creativity at home and the potential to have a bit of fun.
The Digital Talent Show Challenge is open to all BHASVIC students and staff - especially if you are bored at home? Need to move your body? Need to practice but don’t have an audience? Need to express yourself? Let’s make the most out of our time at home and make it fun and creative! Artists NEVER stop creating, and now is the time to show up, share talents and spread some joy! The BHASVIC Digital Talent Show challenges students and staff to: film one of their special talents (singing, acting/storytelling, dancing, gymnastics, magic, slam poetry, stand up comedy, visual art, spoken word, making/creating something, yoga poses, tiktok dances, tricks, etc). The sky is the limit-nothing (college appropriate) is off limits! Acts can be 1-3 minutes long and students/staff can submit 1 entry. Bonus points for including costumes/props or even family members. Video submissions will be posted on Drama’s YouTube channel when they are received and approved. The BHASVIC community will vote on the top videos at the end of our home learning experience (stay tuned for voting link). The winner will receive something (yet to be confirmed) but obviously the kudos might just be enough. There will be one staff winner and one student winner so tag friends and send videos in .mp4 format to a.meadows@bhasvic.ac.uk and let’s be creative! The deadline for students and staff entries is Friday 5th March 21.
