Maya Parry Jones former BHASVIC student shortlisted for the WJEC Moving Image Awards
Congratulations to Maya Parry Jones former BHASVIC student who has been shortlisted for the WJEC Moving Image Awards in the Music Videos category. She is one of 3 students shortlisted for this category overall from 100s of national and international entries to the competition. Maya’s music video is set to a song by Braille called Main Squeeze and follows a story of the main character (representing Braille) cheating on his girlfriend with her best friend. Braille’s friend tells the girlfriend about what happened. The repeating line ‘are you my main squeeze’ suggests Braille is trying to figure out who he truly wants to be with, but then she breaks up with him. The video then shows clips of all the characters getting on with their lives, followed by throwback clips of Braille and his ex-girlfriend when they were together.
