Normal college Reception opening hours will commence at 8am on Thursday 29 August. The college site will be open, except on Bank Holiday Monday 26 August, however, most staff will be unavailable. Ben Churchyard

Banking & Finance Lawyer

After finishing at Oakmeeds Community College in 2011, I spent two years at BHASVIC, studying English Language, Law and Politics (together with History as an AS level). I then went on to study Law LLB at the University of Exeter, graduating with a 2:1 in 2016. A year studying the LPC at law school (BPP University in London) followed before I commenced my training contract with Shoosmiths LLP in 2017, qualifying as a Banking & Finance Lawyer in 2019. BHASVIC gave me the springboard to kick-start my career, whilst also delivering two of the most enjoyable years of my life – it offered a great mix of knowledgeable, personable and interesting teachers combined with a culture which encouraged a huge amount of fun.
