Joe Burroughs

I came to BHASVIC after attending Cardinal Newman Catholic School. I studied History, Politics, English and Law. From BHASVIC, I read for a BA in History from the University of Exeter. Whilst at Exeter, I also attended a summer school programme at the University of Chicago. After graduating, I spent some time travelling in South Asia. On my return, I joined Accenture, a global professional services firm, as a Business Strategy Analyst. I work in the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions team, advising businesses on transactions and corporate strategies.

There is no doubt in my mind that BHASVIC was the foundation which allowed me to go on and be successful at University and in my career. I believe it is an environment which nurtures engaged, curious and impressive individuals, in so many different ways, and I hope it continues to do so for a long time.
